Arran Coastal Way is one of Scotland’s Great Trails. This 67 mile route cover a variety of terrain, from stroll-happy boardwalks to clamber-over boulder fields, so make sure you’re prepared for a variety of challenges!
Wildlife tours offer opportunity to see sealife such as gannets, herons, dolphins, porpoise and perhaps even a sea eagle (also known as white-tailed eagle)! Otters play around Arran’s coastline and red squirrels have even been known to eat seaweed on the shoreline!
Arran Geopark offers lots of understanding about the formation of the rocks and how Arran got this incredible coastline. You can also take a coastal safari with a tour guide and drive the 56 miles around Arran, taking in the views over to Kintyre, Bute, and the Ayrshire coast, with a local guide who can point out all the best bits of our coast to you.
